The Movielife frontman Vinnie Caruana and Glassjaw frontman Daryl Palumbo are currently working together on a side project called H.A., and are planning to release an album with a tour to follow sometime in the future.


Poison The Well have set "You Come Before You" as the title to their upcoming new album which they are currently hard at work on in Sweden. A July 01st release date through Velvet Hammer Music/ Atlantic has been set for the effort.


A Static Lullaby have posted the Darren Doane (Snapcase, Poison The Well) directed video for their new single "Lipgloss And Letdown online, you can view it here.


System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian has prepared a short film set to a twelve and a half minute mix down of all tracks featured on the debut release from his upcoming side project Serart. The album is presently scheduled for an April 22nd release date through Serjical Strike/Columbia. For more on Serart, check here.

Converge's highly anticipated DVD release "The Long Road Home" has now been pushed back to a March 25th release date through Deathwish Inc..


Sworn Enemy have confirmed on their official website www.swornenemynyc.com that they will be performing on the Second Stage of this years Ozzfest trek. Other rumored candidates who have yet to be officially announced for the aforementioned trek include Stereomud, Seether and Slaves On Dope. In other Sworn Enemy news, the band will be posting the video for their new single online later this week and will be releasing their new album "As Real As It Gets" through No Name/Elektra on March 25th.

In Flames have reportedly completed their contract with Nuclear Blast and are currently considering their options for their upcoming new album which they plan to release later this year.

Former Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Dimitri Minakakis has now formed a new band dubbed Tokyo alongside former members of Knives Out. The group will be making their live debut at the First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia, PA on April 06th, 2003. At present they are working on their initial demo recordings.


Every Time I Die are currently tracking their upcoming new album "Hot Damn!" with producer Eric Rachel (Atreyu, God Forbid) and a release in the spring/summer through Ferret Music is expected. In other news, the band will be embarking on a mini-tour with The Dillinger Escape Plan from April 06th through till April 11th followed by the "Helping Millions Find Success And Happiness Tour" with Hopesfall, The Beautiful Mistake, Brazil and Celebrity from April 24th through till May 10th. Dates and venues for both outings will be announced shortly.


From Autumn To Ashes are currently demoing new material for their next album, Adam Dutkiewicz of Killswitch Engage is tentatively set to produce the effort which should see a release through Ferret Music later this year.

Raunchy are set to enter Hansen Recordings in July/August to begin recording their new album with producer Jacob Hansen, a release late this year is expected.


Former Marilyn Manson bassist Twiggy Ramirez is rumored to be a strong candidate to fill the currently vacant bassist slot in A Perfect Circle. Ramirez would replace Paz Lenchantin who recently left the band to join Zwan full-time. A Perfect Circle are of course presently working on their new album for Virgin which they expect to release later this year.


Tomahawk and The Melvins will be hitting the road together in April/ May on a U.S. trek which will feature either Skeleton Key or Dälek in tow. More information is expected soon.


"Black On Black: A Tribute To Black Flag" will see a release on CD through Initial Records on March 11th. The series was originally put out as a collection of 7"'s and features Black Flag covers done by The Dillinger Escape Plan, Burnt By The Sun, Coalesce, Converge, American Nothing, The Hope Conspiracy, Planes Mistaken For Stars, Playing Enemy and Anodyne.


Shadows Fall, Eighteen Visions and Unearth are set to hit the road together for a U.S. trek that will kick off on March 11th and continue through till April 04th. Dates and venues will be announced in the near future.


Lamb Of God have announced that they will be hitting the road in support of their upcoming new album "As The Palaces Burn" beginning on April 15th and continuing through till May 16th. The previously proposed trek for the band with Chimaira, Unearth and Eighteen Visions has since fallen through and as such new support bands for the trek will be announced shortly. "As The Palaces Burn" will be released through Prosthetic on May 06th.

Lollapalooza will return this summer with a heavy-hitting lineup featuring INCUBUS, AUDIOSLAVE, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, JURASSIC 5 and festival founders JANE'S ADDICTION, it was confirmed Friday.


SYSTEM OF A DOWN's "Steal This Album" has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of more than 500,000 copies in the U.S. "Steal This Album" was released on Nov. 26 through American/Columbia Records.


Sweden's SOILWORK have pushed back the release date to early May for their much-anticipated follow-up to last year's "Natural Born Chaos".

The as-yet-untitled album, which will be issued through Nuclear Blast Records, will include the following cuts, among others:

01. Downfall 24
02. Brickwalker
03. Cranking the Sirens
04. Departure Plan
05. Overload
06. Rejection Role

The band will also have the song "Natural Born Chaos" included on the upcoming PlayStation 2 and XBOX Jet Ski racing game, Splashdown 2, due from THQ in June.



Dog Fashion Disco's upcoming new effort "Committed To A Bright Future" has been pushed back to a May 06th release date as a result of original artwork for the CD being rejected. The track listing for the effort has also seen a change and now shapes up as follows:
